Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

Welcome to Matraville Soldiers’ Settlement Public School, a proud and diverse community where every student is supported to learn, grow and succeed.

Nestled near the coastline of the eastern beaches, our school benefits from spacious, leafy grounds and a relaxed, beachside atmosphere that reflects our community’s strong sense of connection and belonging. We celebrate the rich cultural diversity of our students and families, recognising the strength it brings to our learning environment.

Our caring and committed staff create a safe, inclusive, and engaging space where every child is encouraged to reach their potential. Through high-quality teaching, creative programs, and wellbeing initiatives, we nurture curiosity, resilience, and a love of learning.

Guided by our values of Respect, Responsibility, Learning and Safety, we work in partnership with families to prepare our students for a bright and confident future. We invite you to visit our school and experience the welcoming spirit that makes Matraville Soldiers’ Settlement Public School such a special place to be.
